Health and House

Health and House
is a blog dedicated to the documentation of the renovation of the hundred-year old house my spouse, Anne, and I purchased in March of 2008, and our health changes during this time. Please visit the blog at http://afternature.blogspot.com/

domus alvearium and Stasis are projects produced from materials re-purposed from this house’s renovation.

This is the view of our garden from our back window. It is the product of approximately one and a half week’s work. The plants are transplants from either my mother’s garden, a friend’s garden, from Craig’s list or from seeds or seedlings. Bricks and lumber and “furniture” were from dumpsters, alleys, Craig’s list, or previous projects. The mulch and dirt were purchased for a total of $30 from Menards and the Home Depot, who periodically sell pallets of torn bags of miscellaneous mulches and soils.
